Kyloe AwesomeDocs hits a huge milestone

When Kyloe launched in July 2015 the big idea was to help our clients get the most out of Bullhorn. Since then, we've helped 400+ companies around the world achieve this, with many of them using Kyloe AwesomeDocs as part of their Bullhorn setup.

This week we reached a huge milestone in our journey, when Kyloe AwesomeDocs was used to generate its millionth document! Thank you to our clients for their continued support and helping us get there, and congratulations to Pioneer Selection on being the company to create the millionth doc.

This got us reminiscing about how our most popular product has evolved and looking forward to how it could change in the future.

Getting started...

Kyloe AwesomeDocs came early in the Kyloe product line up but wasn't first. Weeks one - three were spent on other projects, and it was in week four that we started building what would go on to form part of the Kyloe AwesomeDocs product (not that we knew it at the time).

Kyloe co-founder (and Bullhorn alumni) Stewart Morgan knew he could help fill a gap within Bullhorn. In a bid to fill this we set about building the CV formatting functionality that we all now know and love as part of Kyloe AwesomeDocs.
The evolution of Kyloe AwesomeDocs

Following various customer led requests in response to CV formatter from early adopters, the team started to build Kyloe AwesomeDocs four months later in October 2015, and we saw contract creation and editing added to the list of product functionalities. The ability to pull data from Bullhorn fields and automatically populate information in a contract meant that users were seeing a dramatic reduction in the time they were spending creating the contracts, and also a reduction in errors in the contract itself.

From there, the next obvious step was to integrate DocuSign, allowing clients to generate and send contracts for electronic signing. This was a huge step forward for Kyloe AwesomeDocs, Stewart remembers, "This really allowed us to transform Kyloe AwesomeDocs from a product which did bits of the process to an end-to-end document management - or ‘documation’ - tool." Users now had the ability to format a CV, generate a contract, and then send it to the client and candidate for signing. With over 86% of DocuSign agreements being completed within one day, this offered a huge advantage for Kyloe AwesomeDocs users.
Offering a compliant solution

The next big enhancement was the 'Publish' element which came along in 2018 in the run up to GDPR. This meant that users could now send documents as links, so that no data was being shared and stored outside of the CRM, and made it easier to stay on the right side of these new regulations.
So, what does the future look like for Kyloe AwesomeDocs?

Gordon Robinson, Product Manager, thinks it still has a lot of potential to fulfil, "Our vision is that Kyloe AwesomeDocs sets the de facto standard for document management in the recruitment industry, but this is an ever-moving goal and our offering needs to keep up with this. We've always listened and responded to what the market wants - we're open to feedback and ideas from our users and carefully consider these as the product continues to evolve."
