How duplicate records are damaging your Bullhorn CRM

At Bullhorn EngageX 2021 we ran a survey to find out how duplicate CRM records were affecting recruiting and staffing firms. The responses were fairly consistent across those who participated - check out some of the key results below, and learn more about the ways these duplicates could be impacting your business.
The scale of the problem
  • Eighty percent (80%) of respondents said that duplicate records in their CRM were a real problem for their recruiting and staffing company.
  • The most common type of duplicate records are contacts.

The day to day impacts of duplicate records
  • 48% said that this makes running searches in the CRM difficult
  • 38% said that it made their reporting inaccurate
  • 38% said that they wasted time creating the same contacts over and over

The impacts go far beyond daily annoyances and workarounds though, and can actually damage your business.

To create reports that show reliable data you need to make sure your data is in good shape. One of the major things that can impact the quality of your reports is duplicate data!

Duplicate records make it harder to find, and be confident about, the record that you want. This results in longer communication time with suitable candidates which in turn increases the potential for lost revenue.
