Bullhorn alumni and recruitment industry aficionado, Paul Sabatino, recently joined Kyloe as a Solutions Consultant. Leigh Clarke (Commercial Manager, Kyloe) caught up with Paul to find out more about his background and what he has to offer Kyloe clients.

Leigh Clarke: Hi Paul, how have your first few weeks at Kyloe been?

Paul Sabatino: Thanks Leigh. Its been great; I’ve been in the UK spending time with the team here, firstly at our HQ in Orkney, and then in the London office. I’m back in the US now where I’ll be based and I’m looking forward to getting properly started.

LC: Glad to hear it! Can you tell us a bit about what your role at Kyloe will involve?

PS: I’ll be helping recruiting and staffing firms that have outgrown their existing CRM with the design and scope of their Bullhorn implementations, as well as workflow customizations, and training initiatives.

LC: And what about your career pre-Kyloe?

PS: I’ve dedicated the past 15-years of my career serving the Staffing and Recruiting communities in various capacities. From recruiting, representing and placing top technology professionals to identifying, automating, and solving complex workflows, I've gained a strong understanding of the industry and more importantly, the technology that can help you drive it.

LC: You must have a huge amount of knowledge stored up! How will this help you to help clients?

PS: Hugely. The thought of moving business processes and recruiting workflow from one system to another can be daunting… it feels a bit like you’ve fallen down a hole with walls so steep you can’t get out, but I’ve been down there before and I know the way out! As an example, in the fall of ’10 I was tapped by a Chicago-based staffing and recruiting agency to lead their software selection committee for a new Application Tracking System. I researched, tested and compared products from 8 leading SaaS providers for a solution that best fit the organizations current and future needs. Enter Bullhorn and my leading the implementation of their ATS, Back-Office, and Canvas Reporting systems across all lines of business. As a result of this, I understand how important it is to find an answer that meets clients requirements, and isn’t just a plaster.

LC: So you made the move from Bullhorn client to employee, and now you’ve moved to a Systems Integrator; why did you decide to make the move to Kyloe?

PS: Given the product and industry experience I picked up during my time as both a Bullhorn customer and employee, the thought of working with Kyloe as a next step came naturally and the decision to join even easier having been impressed by the company approach and commitment to software and services from the get-go. As a problem solver, I’m looking forward to coming up with practical solutions within the Bullhorn community and continuing the relationships that I’ve built across the Field Sales, National Accounts, and Enterprise teams during my time with Bullhorn.

LC: Excellent! We’re delighted to have you here and look forward to working with you on the team.
